Who We Are
Soundisruptr is a full-service music marketing agency built exclusively for African artists and music brands. We handle DSP marketing, artist branding, press distribution, social media campaigns, and music education across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and diaspora markets in the UK and US.
We are not a general agency that also does music. This is all we do. And we have been building toward it for 16 years.
The Founder
Kevin co-founded NaijaXclusive in 2010, one of Nigeria’s first Afrobeats digital media platforms, at a time when online music discovery in Nigeria was still being invented. He has since built, taught, and marketed inside this industry for over a decade, growing an audience of 135,000 music professionals and a direct mailing list of more than 10,000 artists.
Soundisruptr is the institution he built to formalize what he had been doing informally for years: giving African artists the marketing systems, education, and global access their talent has always deserved.
African artists are not underserved by talent. They are underserved by infrastructure. That is what we built Soundisruptr to fix.
SounDisruptr University
SDU offers online courses, artist bootcamps, and community infrastructure for independent African music professionals. Bootcamp participants do not just study marketing — they write, record, and release original music during each cohort.
Global Access
We Get African Artists Into the Rooms That Change Careers.
In 2025, Soundisruptr facilitated a creative camp at Warner Chappell Music’s studios, placing Nigerian artist Mollythevibe and producer Babybeats inside one of the world’s most prestigious music publishing environments. It was a deliberate demonstration of the kind of access we are positioned to create for the artists we work with.
Our publishing arm, SD Publishing, is in development, building the next layer of that infrastructure.
